Product Introduction:

The GDW series belt dryer is a commonly used continuous drying equipment, widely used in industries such as chemical, food, pharmaceutical, building materials, electronics, agricultural and sideline product processing, and feed production for drying sheet, strip, filter cake, and granular materials. Especially suitable for materials with high moisture content such as dehydrated vegetables and traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, where high drying temperatures are not allowed. This machine uses hot air as a drying medium to continuously move in contact with wet materials, while dispersing, vaporizing, and evaporating the moisture contained in the wet materials with thermal energy. It has the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, good quality of dried materials, and unchanged color.

GDW type can be divided into single-layer belt dryer and multi-layer belt dryer. There are several types of heat sources available, including coal, electricity, oil, gas, and steam. Mesh belts can be divided into stainless steel mesh, high temperature resistant non stick mesh, and steel plate and steel strip. At the same time, it can be designed according to the characteristics of the material under standard conditions. It has the advantages of small footprint, compact structure, and high thermal efficiency, especially suitable for drying high humidity materials.

working principle:

The materials are evenly spread on the mesh belt by the feeder, and the mesh belt is generally made of 12-16 mesh stainless steel wire mesh (different mesh belt steel strips can also be selected according to the different materials), which is dragged by the rotating device to move inside the dryer. The dryer consists of several units, with each unit having independent hot air circulation. Some of the exhaust gas is discharged by a dedicated dehumidification fan, and the exhaust gas discharge amount is controlled by a regulating valve. The hot air passes through the mesh belt covered with materials from bottom to top, completing the process of heat and mass transfer, taking away the moisture of the materials, and thus achieving the drying process. The allowed speed of the mesh belt can be freely adjusted according to the material temperature and moisture requirements, and the number of units can also be selected as needed.

Used for drying dehydrated vegetables, three devices are generally used in series to form the initial drying section, middle section, and final drying section. In the initial drying stage, due to the high moisture content and poor air permeability of the material, a thinner paving thickness, faster operating speed, and higher drying temperature should be used. For materials with a temperature not allowed to exceed 60 degrees, the temperature of the hot air in the initial drying stage can reach over 120 degrees. The retention time of materials in the final drying stage is 3-6 times that of the initial drying stage, and the paving thickness is 2-4 times that of the initial drying stage. Hot air drying at around 80 degrees Celsius and multi-stage combined drying can be used to better utilize the performance of the belt dryer and make the drying more uniform.
